This unique location is near everything, making it simple to organize your trip. The Riverstone Getaway is located in beautiful downtown Madison. Once you park your car you can walk just about everywhere or rent a golf cart to get around. You will have a beautiful view of the river, from the backyard, and your only steps from taking a stroll along the riverfront.

Good to know

Living Room Hardwood floors, a comfy futon couch, two end tables, a TV console cabinet with storage space, and you'll find games, extra chargers, and rainy-day umbrellas in case you forgot to pack your own. A smart TV is hung above the TV console. Kitchen- A cute but functional kitchen with a small island with a built-in cutting board that slides out. There is a kitchen table in the kitchen that seats four and can be used as a workstation. The Kitchen is equipped with: * stove *wine glasses *refrigerator *pots & pans *microwave *complete dish sets *baking sheets *toaster *eating utensils *cooking utensils *blender *drinking glasses *outdoor BBQ utensils *Pet feeding and watering station (be sure to tell us your furry friend is coming so we can leave them a complimentary treat bag and stuffed toy!) Complimentary coffee bar stocked with k-cup coffee, decaf coffee, hot chocolate k-cups, sugar, creamer, and tea for non-coffee drinkers. Welcome basket with salty snacks, sweet snacks, and water. First aid kit located in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom . A washer and dryer are located in the kitchen. Complimentary detergent pods and fabric sheets are provided. Lawn chairs and beach towels They are located in the closet in the living room. Outdoor entertaining area- The backyard features a cozy deck that has a relaxing view of the river, a seating area on the deck, a BBQ grill, and a wood fire pit. Bedroom 1, Features a queen-size bed, a dresser, a closet, and bedside tables with lamps. Bedroom #2, The room has a queen-size bed, a mirror, bedside tables, lamps, a rocking chair, a clothes rack to hang clothes on, and a dresser that can be used as a desk. Bathroom - The bathroom offers a shower and a vanity with a well-lit mirror. Forgot a few toiletries? No worries. We provide travel-sized toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Ladies, we provide black makeup washcloths to remove makeup at night. They are located in the bathroom for your convenience. We also provide full-size body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Other Details to Note

The lock code will be given to you 48 hours before arrival, but it will not be active until 3:00 pm when you can access the property.

House Rules

1. Minimum renter age is 25 years old. 2. Maximum guests: 4 3. Maximum cars: 2 4. Smoking: No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes inside the house or in the front yard. Smoking is only allowed in the backyard area. Cigarette butts MUST be discarded properly (not on the ground). 5. Candles: Do not burn candles due to fire safety hazards. 6. Gas Grill: Please empty the grease drip tray and secure the valve after each use. 7. Wildlife/pest: Pest controls are scheduled quarterly, but we sometimes expect unwanted visitors from nature. 8. Pet Rules: -Prior approval is required. We allow dogs and/or cats a maximum weight of 50lbs for $100 non-refundable fee per pet. -Must be fully house-trained and vaccinated before arrival -The owner is responsible for cleaning up after the pet -The backyard is partially fenced in. -Crated indoors when not home with the pet(s) -Not allowed on furniture and bedding 9. NO DRUG or illicit substances used at any time, anywhere on the property. 10. Owners and staff bear NO responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that you may sustain within or during your stay, nor damages to personal belongings or vehicles.

Wife, myself and 2 grandkids stayed at this sweet little getaway. It was very clean, the rooms were spacious enough for the 4 of us. Absolutely loved the Riverview from the back deck. Dawn is a great host and responded in a timely manner with any questions we had. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen was perfect for us. It was very cold outside so we didn't do much walking, however, it's definitely walkable to Main Street and all that it has to offer. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Other reviews talk about the Saloon across the street, but honestly, it was not a concern for us, even with kids. We never heard any noises or disruptions from over there! Great, peaceful getaway 🙂

We stayed here after Christmas 2025. It was very clean, and it was very well stocked with creature comforts that are missing from most vacation rentals - Keurig pods, coffee creamers, teas, laundry soap and dryer sheets, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, extra chargers and adapters, air fresheners, trash bags, etc. It is a true shotgun style home; each room is arranged one behind the other in a straight line. That means no doors between rooms but that wasn’t a problem at all for us. It’s clearly shown in pics and the description. We did hear the base from the bar across the street on one of the five nights we stayed but it, again, wasn’t a problem for us. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but it was perfectly stocked for doing so if we had chosen to. This is a great rental that we will use again.

Awesome, cozy spot close to town and the river. Nice outdoor space to hang and across from a saloon for some easy entertainment (which didn’t cause any noise issues surprisingly). Comfy beds and a great experience! Would stay again.

Very cute house located within walking distance of many local bars, restaurants, shops! Dawn really made this feel like home! Bathroom extras were a plus for anything you may of forgotten! Very clean! Kitchen fully stocked & coffee area was a big plus! The only piece that was something I wish we would’ve known was the fact the bedrooms do not have doors so if traveling with others may be a concern! We were fine with it & made it work! Would definitely stay again!!
